"...where you will always be loved in Jesus name..."

If you were to die today: And you stood before God and He were to ask you, "Why should I let you into My heaven."

What would you say...?

That is the most important question each person must address, because we will all spend eternity somewhere.

  • The Bible says God loves us:
    • "For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him will never perish, but have everlasting life."  John 3:16

  • However, there is something preventing man from a relationship with this loving God--SIN:
    • "Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened that it cannot save, not His ear heavy that it cannot hear.  But your iniquities have separated you from your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear."  Isaiah 59:1-2
    •  "There is no distinction, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."  Romans 3:22b-23

  • The Bible also says there is a penalty for being a sinner:
    • "For the wages of sin is death, . . . "  Romans 6:23a
  • But since God does truly love sinners and we cannot be good enough to be forgiven of our sins, God did something on behalf of sinful man:
    • "But God demonstrated His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us."           Romans 5:8

  • With the price already paid for your sins through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross, you must, by faith, repent of sin and receive this forgiveness:
    • "But as many as received him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name."  John 1:12

  • How do you receive Christ?  It is as clear and simple as the first three letters of the alphabet:

A--Admit to God what His word already says is true about you: You are a sinner who cannot fix or pay for your sin problem.

  • "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."  Romans 3:23

B--Believe Jesus Christ's death on the cross satisfied God's anger toward the sin that separated you and Him.

  • "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name (Jesus) under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved."  Acts 4:12

C--Confess to God (not a priest, pastor, trusted Christian Friend) that you now want to trust only in the finished Work of Jesus Christ on the cross to receive the free gift of eternal life and be forgiven of your sins.

  • "That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.  For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."  Romans 10:9-10, 13

Keep in mind that just "praying a prayer" will not make you a child of God.  God gives you that right when you BELIEVE the truth.  Prayer is just simply telling God where you want to place your trust.
